Our 3rd Annual Fall Fun Run was a great success!
THANKS to everyone who joined us for a fabulous weekend of running dogs, talking dogs and good times. Food was plenty, friendship and laughter the main stay of the weekend.
 
This informal event is a great way to get an introduction to the sport, learn from others with experience and share training ideas. You don't need to have a lot of dogs - one or two will do!
 
So if you didn't make it this year mark your calendars NOW for next years event!

October 17th - 20th, 2008

Mark your calendars now to be sure to join us for a great weekend of fun runs, training, dogs, dogs, dogs, equipment swaps & sales,  and some surprise guests! This weekend is for all levels of mushers from beginners to the experienced.

Trail lengths from 4 - 30 kms

As with last year - you are welcome to BYOB/food - or for a nominal fee ($50 per person per weekend) we will supply all the meals... you'll still need to BYOB though!

Want Something just a little different for your BIG day???? Join us at Nakitsilik - where we can arrange your Marriage Commissioner, a scenic outdoor 'grotto' for your nuptials, your choice of accommodations in either our B&B or one of our cabins. An outdoor Cariboo style BBQ; hot tub and all the trails you could wish to walk, hike, ride or just explore. Depending on the time of year we can arrange a special wedding dog sled tour, or just specialize some of our other tours for your special day. Book for the weekend, or for the week. Special rates for your entire group - but with groups over 8 your guests will have to expect to camp for now.

In fact - we liked the idea SO much - that we  wanted to be the first wedding held at Nakitsilik -  so we - (Tom & Laurie) were married here on May 23rd, 2004.
