Welcome to Nakitsilik Siberians

First and foremost - our goal has always been to work for the betterment of the breed, our love of the Siberian Husky and to share that love and our passion for the breed and sport with others.

Nakitsilik (pronounced: Na-kit-sill-ick) started out as the culmination of a 20 year dream in 1991, although it took us a few more years to learn and gain our focus.

In the 19 years since this journey began, we have shared our love of the breed and our lifestyle with hundreds of people from all over the globe. From cart racing to tours, hundreds of miles have been spent on the trail and many, many hours on different film productions. Through it all the love we have for our dogs and their love and trust in us has been clearly evident to all.

After an amazing 10 years of doing tours, we have now retired and have only a handful of dogs left - more for our enjoyment than for any lofty goals.

Watch for us on the trail, in future films and at dogs shows as we take time now to enjoy our dogs and get back to what started all of this - sliding down the trail with our teams, enjoying the trails, scenery and the dogs.
